Summary

We are seeking a skilled research technician to join our dynamic laboratory focused on developing advanced CAR/TCR-T cell therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. The successful candidate will support ongoing research activities by performing laboratory experiments, including cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and animal studies. Responsibilities also include data analysis, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting with general lab management tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge biomedical research and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries at the intersection of immunotherapy and genome editing.

Job Duties

  • Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
  • Organizes and performs a variety of routine tests, cultures, and experiments under supervision following an established protocol from the lab. This includes molecular cloning, cell transfection and transduction, cell culture as well as in vitro and in vivo functional assay with the aim on developing advanced CAR/TCR-T cell therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases.
  • Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of research data using different machine and appropriate softwares.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the research process.
  • Documents results of experiments.
  • Interpret results and contribute to the preparation of research reports and presentations for internal review and external publication.
  • Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains laboratory research equipment, instruments, reagents and supplies.
  • Collaboration and Communication.
  • Collaborate with other members of the research team to troubleshoot experimental issues and optimize protocols as well as with collaborators.
  • Contributes to regular meetings, journal clubs and training of new recruits.
  • Works with mouse models.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in basic science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of research, laboratory techniques and research equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols.
