University Marketing and Communication Coordinator

The division of University Marketing and Communication is seeking to hire a time-limited (annual appointment) position of University Marketing and Communication Coordinator to provide strategic support to the entire division, ensuring smooth operations and driving overall organizational effectiveness.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Provide strategic support to the Associate Vice President for University Marketing and Communication, including research, planning, presentation preparation, ensuring fulfillment of deliverables, and facilitation of meetings.
· Drive cross-functional collaboration by facilitating effective communication and information sharing across departments within University Marketing and Communication.
· Oversee the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives by coordinating project activities, workflow, and reporting.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and work experience in marketing, communication, or a related field in the context of a large, complex organization are required. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and successfully managing multiple priorities with proven results is preferred.

Time-limited position with benefits. Salary range: $35,360.00 (minimum) – $50,394.00 (maximum). Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Position may be required to work nights and weekends and could require limited travel.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and work experience in marketing, communication, or a related field in the context of a large, complex organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and successfully managing multiple priorities with proven results is preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of project management systems a plus. The ideal candidate is a data-driven strategic thinker, with fortitude, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as this individual will interact with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external to the organization.
