Job Description
Provide administrative support to the Whitman School of Management/Defense Programs. Manage multiple program budgets and serve as liaison to the Department of the Army regarding all executive education classes (approximately 30 weeks per year) and the student attendees ((300 students each year).

Bachelor’s degree required and three to five years of administrative experience.

Job Specific Qualifications
Excellent administrative skills.

Mastery of Microsoft Office, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, and problem solving skills.

Arrange course logistics to include developing course schedules, arranging guest speakers, procuring lodging/transportation, arranging for catering, and printing of course materials.

Distribute course information to all inbound students to ensure preparedness, track course registrations, resolve any issues or questions that arise.

Compile student payment details and submit invoice requests to SU Sponsored Accounting.

Coordinate with the Department of the Army Proponency Office to assist class applicants with the application process, obtain student class rosters, payment information and course information.

Work with SU Sponsored Accounting for invoicing of student tuition payments, track departmental expenses and ensure that expenses are charged to the proper chart string, update standing IDs each fiscal year, update courses in GoArmyEd, complete monthly credit card reconciliations.

Maintain student databases and upload student grades in the Army system (GoArmyED).
