Job Description

A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Nanoparticle-Aided Cancer Imaging and Therapy Research Lab (PI: Prof. S. H. Cho) at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA.

The appointed postdoctoral fellow will work on the NIH-funded project to develop a fully functional benchtop x-ray fluorescence computed tomography (XFCT) unit for quantitative cancer molecular imaging in conjunction with various metal-based nanoprobes. Emphasis will be given to experimental/hardware work. For this project, experience in x-ray imaging or general imaging science & engineering is highly desirable. Experience in Monte Carlo modeling is a plus.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in physics, medical physics, engineering, or other related disciplines. This position is available until a suitable candidate is found. The pay scale follows the current NIH postdoc salary standard.
