Job Description

A fulltime, hands-on postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on the causes of multiple myeloma. We will develop and use research methods involving single-cell sequencing, functional genomics/CRISPR-Cas9 technology, cancer biology, in vivo disease models, molecular biology, human genetics and genomics methods, and bioinformatics analysis to identify and characterize the molecular causes of this disease. Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with strong research abilities and interests. The successful candidate will have a track record of productivity in research, and have the talent, energy, passion, commitment and potential to take advantage of the vast resources available at the #1 ranked University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, molecular genetics laboratory-based technical skills and strong reference letters are required, and strong interest in bioinformatics analysis is preferred.
