Job Summary
Reporting to the direction of the Associate Director of IT Professional Services, this position is responsible for managing enterprise information system projects for the UW-Milwaukee campus. As a member of the UWM University Information Technology Services team, this position collaborates with divisions and departments across campus on the planning and design of information system projects, based on appropriate business requirements and information technology strategies and trends. These approaches will incorporate an understanding of the vision, goals and critical success factors, key performance indicators, metrics and other performance measures of the University. This position operates under general supervision.

This is a full-time 12 month FIXED-TERM RENEWABLE academic staff appointment.

Minimum Qualifications
• Professional work experience managing projects to completion
• Professional work experience providing project management for information systems projects

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Systems or related field by date of hire
• Experience using multiple project management methodologies, techniques and tools (i.e., waterfall and agile)
• Formal training in project management methodologies as evidenced by a PMP certification or equivalent
• Professional work experience leading organizational change / improvement
• 5+ years of professional work experience in the IT/business industry
• Experience working in higher education
• Experience working in a decentralized organization comprised of a diverse client base with multiple layers of authority
• Expert in using fundamental IT Professional tools and methodologies – such as SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.
