The Assistant Director of Admissions, Transfer Recruitment assists the Associate Dean of Transfer and Graduate and Professional Program Admissions in recruitment efforts focused on transfer students, including assistance with transfer application review, and representing the college at community colleges, college fairs, and campus programs. The Assistant Director of Admissions also assists the Associate Dean in establishing processes related to the centralization of undergraduate and graduate admissions programs.
• Analyze transfer data and provide reports to assist Associate Dean in development of marketing strategies for the recruitment of transfer students.
• Assists with facilitation of programming to support Associate Dean in the transfer process for prospective students and their families. Assists with the program by scheduling and promoting the event, confirming speakers, and confirming setup arrangements. Assists with the schedule of attendance at transfer fairs and transfer center visits with local and partner community colleges.
• Advise and counsel transfer prospective students on the admissions and transfer of credit process. Assists the Associate Dean in the execution of a comprehensive support structure of communication to transfer students via mail, e-mail, phone, internet, social media, and face to face contact.
• Deliver presentations to prospective and admitted students and families. Conduct transcript evaluations for prospective transfer students. Represent admissions with attendance at various prospective student and yield events and programs throughout the academic year.
• Assist with athletics National Letter of Intent process; collaborate with Director of Compliance, Associate Dean of Admissions, GPS & Transfer, and Dean of Financial Aid. Monitor student-athlete application flow from review to enrolled.
