Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center has a full-time faculty member position in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Your responsibilities will be primarily divided between Harris County Hospital District (HCHD) and the Baylor Clinic. Division Director will be your immediate supervisor. You will staff the Dysplasia and Gynecologic Oncology clinics, as well as well as the chemotherapy and in-patient services and perform Gynecologic oncology surgery. It will be your shared responsibility to ensure the residents have clearly defined educational, clinical and potential research goals and in addition understand and be fully versed in the techniques and methods of complex pelvic procedures at this time.
You will be called upon to give didactic lectures in addition to establishing a private clinic. You will be given a minimum 20% administrative time. If additional time is needed to pursue other academic projects, this will need to be approved by the division director and the Chair. You will be expected to take 1 weekend Gyn Oncology call from home every 3-4 weeks that includes rounding on inpatients
We require you to have an unrestricted Texas Medical license and be fully credentialed prior to the start of your employment. Minimum Education: M.D. Minimum Job Experience: Related experience required.
