The Department of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, Texas looking for a transplant infectious diseases faculty to join our academic program. We seek a clinician and clinical-educator at the level of Associate Professor who will serve as Director of the Transplant Infectious Diseases Service and join our expanding clinical practice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Responsibilities include being Director of the Transplant Infectious Diseases at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BLSMC), including inpatient and outpatient clinical duties. The Director will work with the transplant teams on non-billable collaborations on transplant patients and manage protocols related to the transplant programs. The position is approximately 50% clinical and 50% clinical leadership. The Director will also teach and participate in scholarly activities.
Education Required: M.D.
Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Diseases
Must have formal training in or have significant experience in transplant infectious diseases.
