Saint Mary's College seeks to hire a per-course adjunct faculty member to teach Art History 2, Survey of World Arts: Africa, Asia and the Americas, in the undergraduate program in Spring 2020.

Mondays & Fridays, 1:00-2:40pm

This interdisciplinary course, intended for beginning students in any major, examines the evolution of the arts, design, and architecture of Asia, Africa and the Americas. The course offers students a general introduction to the methodology of art history in non-Western countries.

This course satisfies the Artistic Understanding (Analysis) requirement and the Global Perspectives requirement of the Core Curriculum.


A minimum of three years of college teaching experience as well as experience teaching a survey course that included Africa, Asia, and the Americas is required. PhD preferred.
