Job Purpose

Works under the supervision of the Dean, Health Professions, in managing and overseeing the business operations of the School of Health Professions. Recommends improvements to and changes in operations to increase effectiveness.

 

Job Responsibilties
  • Assists in managing and overseeing the business operations of the School of Health Professions as directed. Oversees the updating of employee information in SAP.
  • Reviews and releases documents in SAP for approval and release by the administrator or director of the organizational unit. Generates monthly reports and distributions in SAP.
  • Performs the daily accounting and financial functions to assure accuracy of transactions and assure that departmental transactions conform with College policy.
  • Provides administrative support to the School of Health Professions Administrator Communicates with Dean, School Administrator, and other Health Professions personnel on a variety of budgetary and financial issues.
  • Monitors departmental expenses and ascertains whether or not charges have been made to the appropriate cost center.
  • Assists in developing the departmental annual budget by cost centers and forecasts revenue and expenses.
  • Responsible for pre and post grant award support for School programs. 
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Required: Five years of relevant experience.
