Summary

Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and Texas Children's Hospital is seeking applicants for a clinical position in Pediatric Cardiology at The new Woodlands Campus of Texas Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity in the Woodlands, a vibrant and productive community, with excellent schools, exciting artistic venues and social life. The beautiful new campus will contain an inpatient unit, pediatric intensive care unit, operating rooms, therapies and level 3 nursery, staffed with all pediatric subspecialties. In addition, the professional building will accommodate the general pediatric and subspecialty clinics. The cardiology clinic will have 3 echocardiography rooms, its own exercise laboratory and a fetal center.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will spend most of his or her time at the Woodlands Campus but will also be provided opportunities to be integrated into the clinical and academic program at Texas Children's Main Campus and Baylor College of Medicine.  All educational, quality and clinical meetings are televised to all locations and integrative technology is available for live participation.

Job Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have completed 3 years of fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology and be Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Additional post-specialist training will be an advantage.  He or she will be appointed as an assistant or associate professor within Baylor College of Medicine, depending on qualifications, experience and track-record.
