Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting qualified applicants to provide inpatient care at Texas Children’s West Campus and Texas Children’s Medical Center. We are currently recruiting hospitalists for 2 different career paths: 

Job Responsibilities:

Clinician-Educator Track: Physicians in this track will oversee care of patients at our community and medical center campus sites. They will work independently and with medical learners in the daily care and management of patients. Candidates for this position should possess excellent clinical skills and have an interest in scholarly pursuits in education, clinical research, and/or quality improvement science. 

Physician Investigator Track: Candidates for the physician investigator track should have advanced skills in clinical, translational or quality improvement research. Candidates with an advanced degree (MPH, PhD, or equivalent experience) are preferred. Candidates with a strong publication record, experience in grant writing, and enthusiasm for mentorship of junior faculty and fellows are ideal.
