Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position. We would consider a temporary, temporary to hire or direct hire. This is an immediate need for a very critical role within the college.

Conduct the day-to-day administration of the campus Transportation Demand Management program, including managing the budget and production, maintenance, analysis of the data associated. Assist faculty, staff, students, parents, local law enforcement partners and the public with parking related issues.
• Parking Permits: Create, implement and coordinate the issuing of parking permits for faculty, staff, students and visitors. Input and maintain an accurate database of all vehicles with permits. Update databases with changes or corrections.
• Vehicle Violations: Work with existing systems to maintain data on warnings & citations. Update databases with changes or corrections. Process appeals received in response to parking citations. Coordinate and schedule Community Service work for student swiht citations. Obtain appropriate paperwork for immobilized or towed vehicles. Conduct field enforcement and lot review & maintenance checks.
• Reserved Parking: Accept, process and prepare all requests for reserved parking, including contacting requestors, preparing signs and coordinating deployment and retrieval. May also assist in deployment & retrieval of signs.
• Program Development: Work with the Executive Director to develop, communicate, deploy and maintain general campus transportation demand management programs. This includes assisting with meetings and presentations.
• Special Events: Prepare for large campus events such as Commencement. Work large events to assist with parking & transportation.
• Budget & Supplies: Order, maintain and plan supplies and equipment for the transportation demand management program. This includes working with the Executive Director to develop and manage the budget.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Provide back-up support and assistance to other departmental administrative support staff. Research and produce information on special projects as requested.

Experience and Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or G.E.D. PREFERRED: AA Degree

Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience preferred, preferably within an academic setting.

Skills/ Abilities: Ability to use MS Office Suite, and the Google suite. Ability to effectively use web services. But have legible printing, with accurate spelling. Ability to interact well with a variety of personalities often in tense settings. Demonstrate good oral communication skills. Possess strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and work effectively with a flexible and collaborative team. Safely operate motor vehicles. Ability to use a two-way radio.

Licenses &Certifications: REQUIRED: CA Driver's License Class C.
PREFERRED: CPR/First Aid and AED Certification

Other Requirements: Some evening and weekend work. Pre-employment screenings may include but are not limited to drug screen, reference checks, physical examination, full criminal history background and a complete driving history check.
