Job Description

Summary of Position
The Communications and Public Affairs department at UNH is currently seeking a producer of visual design. The primary responsibility of the producer is to create communications that promote the UNH brand across platforms. Communications will be distributed via multiple channels, including marketing collateral, print publications, digital applications, social media, etc. Communications will be delivered to multiple audiences, including prospective students, current students, alumni, key influencers, etc. The producer will collaborate extensively with colleagues, most notably, videographers, photographers, editors, and marketers. The producer will be expected to lead creative teams and projects from concept to completion. Teams may include colleagues within the department, staff across the university, outside agencies or partners, as well as students.

Other minimum qualifications
- 3+ years visual design experience, preferably in marketing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, fine arts or related creative field
- Strong visual and creative skills with attention to audience
- Solid understanding of print production and digital design
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Familiarity with content management systems (Drupal preferred) is a plus
- Knowledge of higher education and new/emerging trends in creative and marketing
