Job Description
The IT Desktop Analyst works within a consumer-focused team to provide technical support to the College community. This position provides rapid response desktop and classroom technology support for software, hardware, network connectivity, classroom technology, and telecommunications equipment. This position will diagnose and resolve issues with technology, train and educate end users on best practices, and serve as a resource on available software and hardware.

The IT Desktop Analyst maintains, supports, and updates classroom technologies on ACC campuses and serves as the primary support contact for classroom and office technology needs. This position also supports a variety of enterprise applications and solutions, such as Office365, virtual environments, and device management solutions.

The IT Desktop Analyst will also plan and manage installation and renovation projects within their assigned area. This includes consulting with end users to determine technology needs, recommending hardware and software configurations, vendor and client management, and leading technical installation.

Two positions are available one at ACC's main campus in Littleton and one at the Sturm Collaboration Campus in Castle Rock.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, or higher, in Computer Information Systems or a related technology field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Full-time experience may substitute on a year for year basis but will not count towards the minimum two years experience requirement.
Two years experience supporting technology in an educational or business environment
Experience managing multiple IT projects through lifecycle to completion
Knowledge of current computer technology including common devices, software, Windows, and MacOS

Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience working in the higher education industry
Project management experience that includes coordinating technical installation and renovation projects
Experience with training and knowledge transfer on software usage and technical concepts to non-technical end users in a variety of settings.

Physical & Cognitive Demands:
The following are some of the physical and cognitive demands commonly associated with this position.
Occasionally moves, positions, and transports computers and peripheral hardware weighing up to 50 lbs. around ACC campuses.
Occasionally moves around campus. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc.
The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.

Advertised Salary Range: Starting salary for this position is $52,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time, FLSA exempt position.
