Summary of department
For more than 125 years, the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy has led the way in educating pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. Summary of position
As a member of the College of Pharmacy IT team, this position will design, develop, and support applications and services provided to the college. The position is also responsible for internally developed and/or integrated web applications and related collegiate data. The position works independently, with guidance from the direct supervisor to perform routine and advanced tasks associated with formalized software development.

This position is not eligible for H-1b visa sponsorship.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop an operational understanding of critical business systems, workflows, policies, and processes.
Design, create and deliver secure and intuitive web applications.
Maintain the collegiate data mart, and participate in the development of backend databases, reports, and dashboards.
Consult with users regarding application requirements, identify needs, and verify project scope.
Drive innovation and create efficiencies through digital enablement.
Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the college to successfully deliver projects.
Document processes, solutions and guidelines for users and colleagues.
