Funding is available for 2-years.  Projects are centered on radiation exposure and dose in computed tomography (CT.) Familiarity with radiology, including CT, is important. The position will involve managing several clinically-oriented CT projects, including the use of spectral-shaping of the CT beam to lower patient dose in CT colonography, and assessing low-contrast detectability of liver masses in an abdominal phantom using dual-energy CT.  Skills in basic image quality evaluation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and presenting data, writing abstracts and/or manuscripts are highly desired.
