The Section of Immunology, Allergy and Retrovirology in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital integrates state-of-the-art clinical care in immunologic and allergic diseases with cutting-edge research into the underlying immune-mediated mechanisms. The Section presently seeks a full time research faculty, Assistant Professor, to add to its vibrancy, critical mass, and growing service to its mission within the William T. William T. Shearer Center for Human Immunobiology
- Provides a basic clinical and translational research center relating to the human immune system and immune mediated diseases.
- Offers a state-of-the-art research facility and equipment for investigation of human immunity.
- Maintains a vibrant scientific faculty with training opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, medical trainees, and post-doctoral fellow training opportunities, including a journal club.
- Includes a research seminar series covering topics in human immunobiology.
