Associate Director, Business Development - 127020
Job Summary
Provides business development leadership for the Center's initiatives including Cybersecurity for All, Florida Cyber Range and other Center initiatives. Leads the business development, revenue generation, sales management and marketing for the Center. Leads the strategic management and business planning necessary in securing and developing public, private, and individual buy-in to transformational educational systems. Leads the program metrics, portfolio composition and linkages to business, industry, and the workforce. Serves as performance consultant to internal and external stake holders for Center and Cybersecurity for All initiatives. Generates various Cybersecurity for All research-based business plans, reports, marketing materials and communications. Collaborates with business, education, and workforce partners to promote sales pipelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience. Proven track record in business development, revenue growth and marketing. Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting. Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Technical skills required to understand and promote Center programs by focusing on client requirements. Ability to communicate information both technical and non-technical to staff, customers, and other constituents in clear and concise manner. Experience in Cybersecurity, Cyber education or related fields a plus. Experience teaching degree, non-degree courses and/or certification courses a plus.
Essential Functions
Provides business development leadership for the Center's initiatives including Cybersecurity for All, Florida Cyber Range and other Center initiatives. Leads the business development, revenue generation, sales management and marketing for the Center.
Tracks new markets and emerging trends and makes recommendations. Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement. Establish relationships with potential clients and arrange appointments for sales calls. Develop a strong understanding of the Center's programs and Cybersecurity for All initiative and develop industry and positioning strategies, and goals.

Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on emerging markets and competitors. Develop reporting instruments that collect appropriate data on performance.
