Summary

An instructor position is available in the Department of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). The candidate will join a highly dynamic group in the head and neck cancer program by carrying out high quality translational research in head and neck cancer genomics, metabolism, molecular biology, and related topics.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working within translational research and experience in mentoring and supervising students, resident and fellows.
  • Having extensive experience in cancer genomics, molecular biology and related topics.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis
  • Fluent in English and good at writing
  • Being organized and able to multitask within a dynamic, lab-based environment
