The Department of Music at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for an Assistant Professor/Woodwind Specialist. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position beginning fall 2020.

It is preferred that the candidate for this position have a clarinet or flute background, with additional experience and abilities to teach both instruments. The candidate should be willing and prepared to apply innovative recruitment strategies for these studios through high school campus visits, master classes, and regular recitals. Candidates with secondary experience in music education, supporting CCU’s upcoming Bachelor of Music Education degree, will receive additional consideration.

Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree or commensurate professional experience is preferred, but a Master’s degree is required for this position.
