The Department of English, Philosophy and Modern languages at West Texas A&M University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Philosophy, a tenure-track appointment beginning in Fall 2020.

Area of Specialty: Modern; Area of Competency: Open.


Teaching Load: 3/3.
The candidate will be expected to produce in all three areas of teaching, research and service.

PhD in Philosophy by time of appointment.
Must show proficiency in teaching lower level introductory courses as well as Modern Philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to teach a broad range of material.
