Job Purpose

Oversees and plans the marketing and business development opportunities and/or activities associated with a specific Baylor department or function.

Job Duties
  • Develops business development plans for concierge services.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and makes recommendations to meet the needs of the market.
  • Works closely with a cross functional team to effectively build client relationships to drive client retention and satisfaction.
  • Effectively manages client expectations and service standards.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert on business products, processes and operations.
  • Leads initiatives and/or special projects at the direction of the leadership team.
  • Identifies prospective clients and members within target market and develops relationships.
  • Develops proposals and negotiate terms as necessary to drive new business engagement.
  • Conducts market research, pricing, promotion, and sales.
  • Introduces newly developed programs to corporate and community clients and partners.
  • Administers and maintains customer-relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Consults with department CRM users on troubleshooting and training.
  • Responsible for optimizing and maintaining CRM integrity.
  • Develops and manages departmental content for the internet and intranet.
  • Responsible for social media accounts.
  • Assists in the creation of all internal and external department/center communications.
  • Works on advertising opportunities and patient facing web content.
  • Manages departmental communications projects and serves as liaison with the offices of Graphics, Marketing, Communications and Community Outreach on design projects and publications.
  • Identifies opportunities for the development and implementation of new products or new solutions to meet or exceed customer need.
  • Provides departmental/center reports to leadership as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Three years of experaince preferred.
