Job Description
The College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Hartford invites applications for a full-time, Assistant/Associate Professor position in our Educational Leadership in Higher Education program. This is a 12-month appointment with rank commensurate with background and experience. The appointment will begin in August 2020.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include teaching doctoral level courses in our dynamic cohort program; advising dissertation students; pursuing a focused line of research leading to peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and external funding; contributing to ongoing program development; and serving on program, department, college and university committees.

Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate from an accredited institution in higher education, higher education administration, educational leadership, or related field.
We seek candidates with ample experience teaching graduate students, who have served as a mentor chairing or serving on doctoral dissertation committees in educational leadership, and have taught courses in some of the following areas: diversity, student affairs administration, policy, foundations, organizational theory, policy, and research methods. Preference will be given to applicants who have a research/scholarly record and interests in one or more of the following areas: educational leadership, research methods, and social justice in higher education.
