Essential duties and responsibilities: Conduct research on spatially and temporally variable hydrodynamic, water quality, and oyster habitat suitability in the Mississippi Sound. Analyze data, develop situationally appropriate models, write reports and peer reviewed publications, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
Minimum qualifications: PhD in biological engineering, environmental engineering, geosciences, marine ecology, computational biology, or related field
Preferred qualifications: Experience with coastal processes, nutrient dynamics, and coastal ecology dynamics
Knowledge, skills and abilities: GIS modeling, water quality modeling, computer coding, and statistical software.
