Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible for ordering and receiving for firm orders and serials.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for submitting orders for new library materials as well as ongoing serials and subscriptions in multiple formats (monographic, electronic, audiovisual, etc.)

Uses the University's procurement card for purchases of library materials.

Receives all formats of ordered materials, which includes monographs and subscription titles.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or at at least two years of education at a college or university; one to two years related experience/training.
Preferred Qualifications
Customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Basic knowledge and skill in maneuvering within Windows-based software applications. Basic knowledge and skill on Internet browsers and search engines to access web sites. Basic knowledge and skill of using email to send and receive correspondence.
