Job Summary
The Department of Computer Science at Gettysburg College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer position beginning August 2020. This is a renewable teaching-focused position. Teaching responsibilities will include some combination of 100-level introductory courses for majors or non-majors with the possibility of also developing and teaching an upper-level course in the successful candidate’s area of expertise. The teaching load for this position will be three course sections per semester with the expectation that the successful candidate will work to establish and oversee the CS Help Center.

Candidates should have a Master’s (or higher) in Computer Science or a closely related field. We seek an individual who has a genuine interest in teaching within the liberal arts environment. Teaching experience or promise of excellence in teaching is desirable. Candidates with industry experience or who can support new areas of the current curriculum are invited to apply.
