Job Description

Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certificate, or must obtain within 30 days of hire
Computer experience including use of Microsoft Office & documenting in electronic health records

Preferred Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant
Certified Phlebotomist
2+ years experience working in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine medical clinic.

Job Description
35 hour per week position responsible for assisting a medical provider with patient care, setting up, cleaning, and restocking the exam rooms, performing CLIA-waived lab tests, and documenting care in an electronic medical record.

Job Duties
Front & Back Office Duties:
Perform patient check-in. Collect patient health insurance information. Schedule appointments. Answer calls & take messages. Stock supplies. Prepare exam room. Assist with patient care to include vital signs, immunization administration, blood draws, and procedures. Perform CLIA-waived lab tests. Other duties as assigned

Additional Information to Applicants
This position is for 35 hours a week with full benefits.
