Organic Chemistry II (Chem 106L) laboratory, the second in a 2-semester sequence focuses on the structure and reactivity of aromatic compounds, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and derivatives, and amines. The laboratory includes an emphasis on multi-step organic syntheses and discussion of biologically-relevant organic compounds.

This laboratory meets on Monday from 1:15 - 5:15 pm during the 2020 Spring Term.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. (by February 1, 2020) in a relevant area of chemistry, and should have a successful record of teaching experience in chemistry at the undergraduate level.
