Position Summary
Monmouth University invites applications for the Open Rank Professor position in Educational Leadership in the School of Education. The position is for the 2020-2021 academic year. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Primary responsibility will be to help define and develop new graduate programs within the School of Education. Other responsibilities include: teaching and performing curriculum area leadership in the graduate programs of the department; conducting and publishing research in refereed publications and disseminating findings to colleagues and doctoral candidates; supervising graduate students; and providing service within the University and educational communities, including maintaining and improving program ties with educational leaders in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland school districts and schools; contributing to on-going accreditation efforts at the program and school levels.

Other Requirements
Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a related field. Possess an administrative license as principal or superintendent. Significant public or private school, senior administrative experience at the P-12 levels.

Clear evidence of engagement with scholarship. Knowledge and use of technology and its administrative applications. Demonstrated experience effectively teaching hybrid or online courses.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated published research in peer-reviewed publications. Successful public school teaching experience. Knowledge of the New Jersey educational system. Expected mastery of multicultural and social justice competencies in educational leadership.
