Job Description

The Department of Art & Design at the University of Minnesota Duluth is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a full-time Tenure-Track appointment in Printmaking beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year. Ongoing professional creative activity, maintenance of the Printmaking studio, academic advising, mentorship of students, service to the department, campus, university as well as community engagement are expected.
Essential qualifications:
MFA degree in Printmaking or a related field by 7/1/20. An established public exhibition record.
Familiarity with appropriate disciplinary technologies
Knowledge of historical, theoretical, and critical aspects of the discipline. Ability to teach foundation coursework, such as 2-D Design and/or 2-D Digital Design.
Ability to teach beginning and advanced drawing courses.
One year of experience teaching printmaking courses at the college level. (Graduate TA experience is acceptable).
