Department Summary
The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth is seeking an outstanding faculty colleague at the rank of Assistant Professor in the field of Biostatistics

Position Summary
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent program of methodological research as well as actively collaborate and provide statistical expertise to other researchers within the UNTHSC. Although all research areas of biostatistics and statistics are welcome, candidates with expertise in statistical genetics, Bayesian statistics, missing data, big data, data mining, survey methodology, and clinical trials are highly encouraged to apply. Other duties include teaching, mentoring of students, and service to the Department. This is a full-time, non-tenure, 12-month position.

Preferred Qualifications
PhD or equivalent in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field is required prior to employment;
