Job Description

The Green Laboratory at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified and motivated candidate for an open postdoctoral fellow position. The projects is focused on exploring the role of unique genetic drivers of B-cell lymphoma and myeloma, and targeting critical epigenetic and immune regulators and with novel therapeutics. The project will employ single cell RNA-sequencing and other cutting edge genomic approaches, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, transgenic animal models, and patient-derived xenograft models.

The Green lab is part of the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma and the Department of Genomic Medicine, which offer a highly translational research environment. The lab is well funded through the NIH/NCI, research consortia, and other funding mechanisms. Dr. Green received his training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School and Stanford Medical School, and places an emphasis on career development and trainee mentorship.
