Do you have a proven ability to carry out teaching and research in Pure Mathematics? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?
The School of Mathematics invites applications from academics who have an excellent research record, an aspiration to obtain external research funding and a passion for delivering first-class inspirational teaching and supervision in a top School (in the top 10 REF2014) in a research-intensive UK University.
As a Lecturer, you will carry out research, teaching, and management within the School, Faculty and University and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Pure Mathematics. Applicants whose research will reinforce the School’s existing strengths in Mathematical Analysis or Mathematical Logic (both fields broadly interpreted) are particularly sought.
With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolio as well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching, you will make a significant impact on the performance, stature, and profile of research and student education at the University of Leeds. You will have a PhD in Pure Mathematics or a closely related subject.
As part of your online application, please include a copy of your CV and a list of publications. Please also include a statement of your proposed research, approach to student education, and briefly how you could contribute to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community (maximum four pages in total).
