Summary

This position is located within IQuESt, the Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness and Safety.  We are the largest center for Health Services Research within the Southwest.  We conduct high-quality scientific research that improves the health of patients across the nation, by helping to ensure the patient-centered delivery of scientific discoveries.

Job Duties

The candidate should be highly motivated to pursue a career in health services research and be available for a full-time (40hrs/week) position. The Instructor will participate in the design, execution, analysis and evaluation of qualitative Patient Safety Center research projects and should have high personal motivation, self-management, and detail-orientation; ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress with little direct supervision.

 

The candidate should have the capacity and willingness to learn new research software, research methods, and work routines quickly, and flexibility in responding to new research opportunities as they arise.  
Other tasks that might be expected include: assisting with developing and administering data collection instruments; assisting with interviews or focus groups including obtaining informed consent; facilitating preparation of reports, manuscripts and presentations for dissemination of research results.
