The Section of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking qualified physician scientists at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-class institution in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. Job Duties

The physician scientist will also participate in patient care and will educate and supervise research and clinical trainees.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful applicants will have a track record of NIH or other external research funding. Physician scientists with research portfolios in respiratory or gastrointestinal viruses, human immunology and pathogenesis, sexually transmitted infections, bacteriophage, or microbiome studies are preferred as they will synergize with Baylor's outstanding resources, strengths and current funding. Applicants must be board certified in adult Infectious Diseases and possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
