Provide required and selected permissible services for the targeted population in the areas of academic, career, and personal advising and coaching.

The Coordinator will track TS students’ academic advising and participation requirements as outlined in the TS student agreement form.

Assist participants with course selection to meet graduation requirements

Develop and monitor students’ Individual Academic Plans (IAP)

Responsible for planning and managing one or more academic support service functions and for formulating and recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer such programs.

Responsible for interpreting academic support services policies and procedures and for recommending new and improved programs to effectively manage academic support services administration.

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations of college students.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as necessary.

Develops and facilitates program workshops and coordinates social and cultural events as needed.

Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Maintains appropriate and accurate student records: maintains contacts in Blumen

Tracks and documents student participation in project services.

Analyzes data, generates and disseminates periodic reports (monthly and semester).

Assist in developing and implementing advising unit goals and strategies.

Assist in implementation of the decided operational direction for the project or program.

May have direct reports

Prepares reports as needed

Coordinates and attends meetings, maintaining communication with appropriate internal and external contacts

Responsible for developing recruitment plans for their target schools and recruiting program participants.

Other duties as assigned.
