Qualifications Required
Master’s degree in information technology or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in information technology or related field with certifications and/or documented experience in Microsoft Office Specialist, JAVA, C#, SQL Server, Security, Mobile programming, Database Design, Web Development, Open Source Software, CISCO, Virtualization, Mobile Support, Wireless Networking and .NET and two years relevant work experience or subfield such as (Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Instructional Technology, Software Engineering, and Cyber Security) is required. Prefer college teaching experience with strong interpersonal skills, friendly and patient personality, good writing and communication skills, advanced computer skills, ability to work with a diverse student population, and an engaged teaching style. Requires flexibility with schedule for day or evening, throughout a two semester academic year for both the Grand Island Campus and Kearney Center. Must be able to work independently and be willing to build relationships with community organizations and members. Position requires great leadership skills with a passion to provide a quality learning environment for all students. Individual will need to be a self-starter and take initiative to grow the Information Technology & Systems Program.

General Summary
Seeking (1) full-time instructor to teach information technology & systems courses in programming, information technology support and/or networking as a shared position on the Grand Island, NE Campus and Kearney, NE Center. Will have the opportunity to teach and build program enrollment at Central Community College’s learning center in Kearney, Nebraska and Grand Island, NE campus. Courses will be delivered through various methods including lectures and web-based formats (Online, Internet Protocol/Live Video and WebEx). Program support activities, reporting assignments, student advising, curriculum design, promotion & recruiting, participation with various faculty from all campuses/centers and committee participation will be required.
