Job Summary
Over the course of the academic year, teach four (4) undergraduate classes serving students in the Global Theatre & Ethnic Studies minor as well as BFA and BTA students in the Department of Theatre & Drama, including African American Theatre and Drama, Solo Performance, Beginning and/or Intermediate Playwriting, and Multicultural Acting; serve as co-facilitator of a Performance Seminar on a weekly basis, and provide coaching for actors on two University Production shows. Attend faculty and departmental meetings.

Required Qualifications*
MFA in Acting or an advanced degree in a related field, or commensurate professional experience. A strong background in the performing arts and one or more of the curricular subjects mentioned in Duties. Preferred qualifications: prior teaching experience on the college level and active participation in performance, directing, and/or ensemble work. Documentation of work in multicultural settings, with special emphasis on the exploration of race and identity through performance techniques
