NUARI was established as a national center to address cyber incident management challenges through research, training programs and technology development and has been a global leader for more than a decade in developing cyber war gaming, distributed learning technology, distributed simulation technology, critical infrastructure exercises, and cyber security.

Job Description:
Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to assist with executing the digital and social media marketing initiatives that help increase awareness for NUARI's service offerings and results. This includes ongoing development of assets for NUARI's website, social media channels, and digital marketing campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also analyze marketing efforts using available tools in order to provide search engine optimizations.

Start Date: August 17, 2020

Essential functions

Help coordinate the NUARI's social media strategy and outreach efforts
Assist with the review and analysis of web traffic and behavior, as well as industry and competitor trends, to provide insight for SEO/SEM strategies, content strategies, website optimization, improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and identifying trends.
Provide assistance with creating and optimizing website content, including program descriptions, lead generation pages, and additional content as needed, to support search engine marketing efforts.
Assist with the creation of marketing materials, emails, and digital campaign assets as needed.
Help coordinate outbound email marketing efforts, utilizing the CRM/email communications tool, as well as for tracking of results from campaigns and ongoing engagements.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing.
Experience working with various social media platforms
Understanding of analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social media platforms.
Experience and knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies, including working knowledge of search engines and algorithms.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of web content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Graphic design skills a plus.
