About This Role:

Dr Takashi Ito's Lab, in the Department of Chemistry at Kansas State University is seeking a full-time, term, 12-month appointment as a Research Assistant. The successful applicant will be involved in the preparation/characterization of electrodes modified with novel anion receptors, and the quantitative evaluation of their properties using electrochemical, microscopic and spectroscopic methods. This is an opportunity to participate in NSF-funded collaborative research with Prof. Amar Flood and Dr. Yi Yi at Indiana University.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field
Preferred Requirements:

Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field.
Experience in analytical chemistry, electrochemistry research, and / or the preparation and characterization of nonporous materials.
