Job Purpose

The Senior Coordinator ensures smooth and orderly functioning of graduate programs within the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) by providing support to faculty for delivery of the curriculum. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of curricula, practices and procedures. Provides assistance to faculty for delivery of academic coursework, and content management via on-line systems.

Job Duties
  • Provides assistance to students on matters related to academic progress provides options and enable students to make requests to the appropriate office or faculty.
  • Provides back-up material and documentation on matters relating to students, courses and faculty training and educational efforts.Informs students and faculty of deadlines for filing forms and other materials related to program administration.
  • Facilitates collection of student and faculty data.
  • Maintains files on enrolled and visiting students.
  • Assists graduate program administrators with organization of recruitment events, research conferences and retreats, and other administrative functions.
  • Provides administrative support to course directors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or related field.
