Mathematics Readiness for Calculus (Math 012) is the study of number systems, linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations and inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, radicals, exponentials, functions, inverse functions, logarithmic and exponential functions, angles, triangles, surface area, volume and applications. Emphasis will be placed on problem-solving, critical thinking and mathematical reasoning.

This course meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am - 9:05 am during the fall 2020 term.

Candidates must hold a Masters degree (or above) in Mathematics, have a record of successful teaching at the undergraduate level and familiarity/experience with online/hybrid instruction. This course will utilize hybrid instruction, meeting with each student at least one day per week.
