Job Purpose

The Project Data Analyst will facilitate performance improvement initiatives (projects) by turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This Project Data Analyst will also provide technical services to analyze, design, and deliver solutions for operations and the implementation of strategic plans in the College.

Job Duties
  • Provides technical services to analyze, design, and deliver solutions for operations and the implementation of strategic plans in the College.
  • Utilizes data analysis and reporting of data to enable and control change through establishing and reporting on project KPIs. Interprets data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develops and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filters and "cleans" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Works with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Collaborates with project managers to define, measure, analyze, implement, and control all performance improvements.
  • Assists project managers with defining project plans to include charters, scope, milestones and timelines for performance improvements. Assists project managers with understanding and documenting current and future state processes.
  • Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
