The Clinical Applications Developer is responsible for meeting with the decision makers, systems owners, committees, workgroups and end users to users to define, design and develop software solutions within the Department. Responsible for enterprise-wide integrated applications deployment and maintenance. Works in an autonomous environment while applying best practices, strong solution development skills, experience delivering solutions through the entire development lifecycle. The Developer creates relational databases as needed to meet business and processes needs. Uses knowledge of Data Warehouse. The Developer will learn the HIM operational model and share operational Support On-Call responsibility, and responding to urgent patient care on-call pages (rotate on-call 24/7 approximately one week per month includes being on-call Saturday and Sunday).

Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 5 years of web/application development tools such as ColdFusion, PHP, ASP.NET, or Java
-Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks. -Knowledgeable in user interface design, -including requirement gathering and prototyping
-Knowledge of database modeling and development.
-Expert in SQL query techniques, Oracle & other relational, factual, dimensional databases.
-Knowledge of stored procedure use and design.
-Knowledge of Data Warehouse methods
-Clear and relevant code documentation practices

Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS
-Specific experience with ColdFusion 10 or greater
-Experience with visualization tools, such as Tableau
-Epic Experience, in particular Clarity/Caboodle

Special Requirements
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
