Job Summary
To improve the quality of services provided by COE Student Services, this position will play an integral part in our office’s daily operations. This staff member will ensure the office is providing a high quality of customer service to visitors, ensure correct information is distributed to students, and ensure materials are distributed to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
• Manages scheduled student appointments and drop-in appointments for Engineering Student Services.
• Assigns advisors to engineering students upon entry, at any time the student changes majors, and when students qualify to move into major. Regularly reconciles student curriculum records with advisor assignments.
• Conducts administrative processes in Banner related to student curriculum changes, manages student survey data related to these changes, and notifies advisors related to any major changes and reports on data related to curriculum changes on a regular basis to interested parties within the College of Engineering.
• Assists with the creation of content for the advising website and engineering student guidebook, as well as communication with students and parents related to advising and engineering student services.
• Manages all electronic student files, curriculum models, graduation audit files and any documents related to student advising, includes indexing documents needed to be saved in the advising cabinet in X-Tender.
• Prepares documents, appointment reports, newsletters and other correspondences for advisors, coordinators, directors, and the Assistant Dean within Engineering Student Services.
• Supervises student workers, creating training, schedule and daily oversight of job performance
