Postdoctoral Fellow – Substance Use Disorders, Neuroimaging, Neurostimulation, Clinical Pharmacology, Behavioral Modeling

The Neurobehavioral Systems Lab (NSL) of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (UK COM) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to contribute to multiple extramurally funded studies on decision-making processes in cannabis, cocaine and opioid use disorders. Candidates should have a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or other quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, physics). These projects involve reinforcement and machine learning, behavioral modeling, programming (e.g., Matlab), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), neuronavigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and human drug administration. Experience with at least one of these topics/techniques is required; experience with several of these topics/techniques is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills and successful experience contributing to translational and/or transdisciplinary teams as a “team player” are highly desirable.
