Job Description

Several postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the Court research lab in the Department of Radiation Physics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (see The research involves applications of AI for either (1) image analysis, or (2) the development of low-cost solutions for radiation therapy treatments. Details of the projects will depend on the experience and interest of the candidate. The ideal candidates should have finished (or be about to finish) their Ph.D. degree in computer science, physics, engineering, medical physics, or applied mathematics. Programming skills in Python and/or C++/C# is required. The individual is expected to work within a large group of motivated interdisciplinary professionals.

Candidates who do not meet the CAMPEP course requirements may have the opportunity to take the classes towards a certificate in medical physics (needed for eligibility for entrance to a medical physics residency).
