Job Description


Under general supervision, the Coordinator, Business Operations will play a key role in general administrative support for the Center for Comparative Medicine. This position will handle procurement, reimbursements, and assist with
billing related data entry and effectively communicate with internal and external customers. This position may provide guidance to other team members or take lead role in team projects. This position requires a candidate with effective organizational and time management skills and self-driven to manage critical deadlines.

Job Duties
  • Handles procurement for department via P Card or requisitions for purchase orders.
  • Assists with tasks related to research model procurement.
  • Documents and processes reports related to procurement utilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Processes expense reports in Concur.
  • Leads role in department facility access requests and manages related spread sheets.
  • Data entry for monthly invoicing
  • Processes check requests and reimbursements
  • Participates or takes lead role in special projects related to planning or budget monitoring.
  • Assists with business office specific SOPs
  • Manages department equipment inventory, track and process service renewals.  Facilitates service calls as needed.
  • Calendar scheduling and maintenance.
  • May assist with timekeeping.
  • May assist with travel in the travel management system (Concur).




Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience Required: Two years of relevant experience.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
